Easter is a wonderful time of year to explore symbols of our faith. Here, Rathfarnham parish used a tree (bought in Woodies) which can be a painted branch or a bought tree and hung symbols of Easter on it (Crosses, Communion symbols, Jesus Lives Easter Eggs) and hung them on the tree as a display. In another Easter context, children have coloured in and/or designed templates of washing powders and washing liquids and hung them on a tree as a symbol of Jesus forgiveness making us cleaner than fresh laundry
Here is a simple Lamb of God craft that uses a wash cloth to make a lamb that can be put hanging with the towels in the bathroom as a reminder as we wash ourselves that because of Jesus we can be made completely clean: http://www.makingmusicprayingtwice.com/kids-activities/lent-activities
