This family service focuses on Compassion and Mercy at this time of thanksgiving for the Harvest. Based on the story of the Good Samaritan we are encouraged to consider how we can show true compassion to those around us and share all that we have been given. Putting a new twist on the Kindness tree – this time the leaves come off just as they do in the Autumn and families make a commitment to do the act of compassion written on the leaf.
