A lovely simple creative prayer to encourage the group to pray for those close to them.
We are all on journeys. And when we get tired, God is there to give us strength and courage to keep going. When the angel appeared to Mary, it started her on a very special journey that we are invited to remember now.
This reflective prayer considers how Mary felt when the angel visited her and encourages us to take courage when life is scary. It can be used as part of a family service.
A reflection using the changing leaves of Autumn, encouraging us to consider how change impact us and our relationship with God.
These prayers are based on the theme of ‘letting go’ of what keeps us from God and keeping our hearts focussed on Him. They fit roughly with Mark 7: 1-8, 14, 15, 21-23 (this week’s gospel reading), but could easily stand alone.

This resource was commissioned by the Church of Ireland Children’s Ministry and was created by the founder of Muddy Church, Lucie Hutson.
They explore the wonder of God’s Creation and are suitable for all ages.
