A Crib Service is a chance to tell the story of the Nativity in a different way. Unlike a Nativity play with characters who are dressed up, it usually focusses on a more traditional Nativity Scene.
This is an all age service outline covering the Christmas story – it’s interactive and simple to use.
Based around the theme of Hope this Family service is aimed to be used at Advent but could be adapted for other times when Hope is needed by your church community. Just as Jesus is the Light of the world, bringing hope and joy and welcome to the majestic magi and the lowly shepherds, we also bring that Light to others at this time.
A reflection using the changing leaves of Autumn, encouraging us to consider how change impact us and our relationship with God.
These prayers are based on the theme of ‘letting go’ of what keeps us from God and keeping our hearts focussed on Him. They fit roughly with Mark 7: 1-8, 14, 15, 21-23 (this week’s gospel reading), but could easily stand alone.
